FAQs

What is this treatment/what does it do/what does it treat?

This treatment is a micro epidermal peel and removes problematic areas on the top layer of skin

Good for scars, wrinkles, texture and pigmentation

How long does this treatment take?

Depending on the area of treatment any where from 5-25 minutes

Is there downtime?

The downtime can last up to 2 weeks. This includes 'coffee grind' like texture on the skin, flaking, and in some extreme cases, hiving and blisters may occur.

What does it feel like?

It feels like a really light snap with an elastic band against your skin, or like if someone lightly flicked you, as the applicator moves around the treatment area.

Post treatment your skin may feel warm, like a sunburn, and can remain red for anywhere from a few hours to two weeks.

What should I do before this treatment?

Make sure your skin is clean. Do not apply any lotions, creams or makeup before your session, and stop using any products that might irritate your skin 2-3 days before. You must also avoid any tanning, including self-tanners.

What should I do post treatment?

Be sure to keep your skin cool for at least 48 hours and avoid anything that create heat (such as hot showers, saunas, going to the gym, the sun, etc). Be sure to apply Vitamin E ointment and Sunscreen is a must.

Are results permanent?

Results depends on how your skin reacts to the treatment and how you care for your skin afterward. For example, if you protect your skin from the sun, the results will last longer. We recommend one touch-up session every 3-6 months, depending on how your skin responds to the treatment.

Should this be done in a series?

To see lasting results, it is recommended between 3 to 6 treatments. Individual results vary.
